Mifflinburg Wrestling Training Times and Opportunities

Wrestling is a sport that requires time on the mat continuously throughout the year. Those that excel in wrestling take advantage of as many training opportunities as possible to further their performance. Training in the off season is crucial in the development of technique, conditioning, and strength. This training is to be done in cycles, with different levels of intensity. The post season for example should be spent in the wrestling room, and on a weight-training regimen. Light drilling and wrestling is key this time of the year…tournament opportunities and camps are all around and you should be planning for the 2006-2007 wrestling season NOW. You are in control of your performance, and you must start to develop your goals in this sport. If you have any questions on goal setting email Coach Murray at dave@battlelinewrestling.com.

I am asking from all of our wrestlers, wrestling parents, and wrestling fans for the following: Please try to recruit as many wrestlers as you can to build our program. If each wrestler could recruit at least one wrestler, we could double our numbers and start our growth into a state power. We are in a rebuilding period. Depth is the key to great teams.

All schedules and events will be listed on www.miffwrestling.com. The coaching staff would like to turn this in to Mifflinburg wrestling’s life line to keep everyone up to date on our program’s growth and Upcoming Events that will impact the Mifflinburg Wrestling Community. I would advise all wrestlers and parents to check this site daily for changes to the summer training schedule.
