Micah finishes fourth in Virginia Beach

Monday, April 2nd, 2007

In case you missed it, Micah finished 4th in Virginia Beachthis weekend. Tammy Bollinger posted in depth results. Thanks for the updates, Tammy.

Flowrestling posted two of Micah’s matches. The videos are posted in weight class order. However, the Flowrestling page is unresponsive on Sunday evening and you’re probably not going to be able to watch the videos until Monday. I’ll update this post with direct links when I can get them.

The Flocasts blog highlights Micah’s semi finals match as a favorite:

If coaches and athletes put their emphasis in wrestling then winning will come. The best example of that was in the semis, where Micah Bollinger gave it everything he had and wrestled his heart out. Jamal Lawrence got the better of him on an awesome throw which resulted in 5 points, but Micah clawed his way back into the match. He was unable to get the victory, but his mentality and coaches attitude put the emphasis in the right place….wrestling.
