I am posting the following letter on Mike Lynch’s behalf. - M.B.

Dear Mifflinburg Sports Fans,

As most of you probably know the Mifflinburg Area School District constructed a new gymnasium in conjunction with the new intermediate school. Last year the wrestling and basketball programs committed to raising funds to purchase a digital message board to supplement the main scoreboard. It will be capable of displaying pictures and other biographical information about the event, student athletes or advertisers. It will be large enough to see and read anywhere in the gym and will be unlike any other in the entire region. (more…)

Here are some upcoming events. I’ll update the information as needed.

June 19-22: Battleline Wrestling Clinic at Central Mountain. The wrestling club will provide transportation to the clinic each day. Contact your coach for details. You can download a PDF the brochure from battlelinewrestling.com/

July 27: Golf tournament at Shade Mountain. A 1pm shotgun start is scheduled.

New Elementary Director Dave Walter replaces Rob Rowe as the Elementary Program Director. Rob will still be the Tournament Director.
